Social Syndication Networks

What is a Social Syndication Network?

A Social Syndication Network is a group of web properties consisting of high-authority social media sites, Web 2.0 sites, and social bookmarking sites.
Why build out a Social Syndication Network?

In many cases, companies already have a couple of social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) but they are not optimized for SEO, not interconnected, and not updated consistently. A Social Syndication Network has the following benefits:

  • A network of between 15-22 web properties customized to your company’s brand. Interconnected web properties so that Google and Bing can easily crawl through your network and to your website.
  • A single trigger point. This means you decide which web property you will post to (YouTube, Blog, Twitter, etc.) and then that post is automatically syndicated out to the rest of your network.
  • Extends your company’s reach to the social media and Web 2.0 sites that are trusted by Google and have a high level of authority on the web.
Can I have more than one Social Syndication Network?
Yes. It is recommended to start with a branded Social Syndication Network. Once that network is in place and active you can add additional Tier 1 non-branded networks or add a Tier 2 network.

  • Additional Tier 1 networks are triggered from your branded network trigger point.
  • Tier 2 networks are triggered automatically from your branded BlogSpot, Tumblr, and WordPress sites.
